Another perfect event at The Farm Patch to get everyone together and have some fun!
We’ve been all about pumpkin picking since the very beginning. Back when we were ‘Country Pumpkins!’
As you may already know, we don’t just get a lorry load of pumpkins tipped on the grass, like some of the other patches. We take you back to the traditional experience, growing a huge range of pumpkin varieties for you to pick from right from the field.
There’s not just a single variety either! We also grow several special spooky pumpkins – like Knuckleheads, Crown Prince, Spitfire, Zombie, and Chucky. As well as the traditional favourite Harvest Moon.
There are also the extremely popular mini-pumpkins! Such as Jill be Little, Casperita, and Sweet Lightning. These are perfect miniature pumpkins for decorations and seasonal displays around the home.
All of our pumpkins are edible and very delicious too!

Whilst having a great time exploring what we offer at The Farm Patch, don’t forget to try our popular Pizza! Served from our on-site café, The Bull Pen.
Choose from snack-sized Small or luscious Large pizza’s with a variety of delicious toppings.
There are also a range of mouth watering small treats like cakes & brownies, as well as your favourite hot & cold beverages to choose from, making it the perfect spot to picnic over lunch – or dinner, if you’re coming to one of our special evening events!
Each year we are open several nights for late night pumpkin picking. Late nights are announced closer to the time, as we aim to do on the nights with the best weather! We recommend bringing a torch, but we do have some lighting around the patch to help you find your perfect pumpkin.

The Bull Pen Café will be open, so dinner is sorted! Eat in, or takeaway delicious Italian style pizzas. Or warm up with a selection of hot beverages.

We are easy to find, and only one minute from the Ledbury bypass.
Gilbert’s Farm, Lilly Hall Lane, Little Marcle – HR8 2LD.
Watch out for signs pointing the way. You’ll spot signs at the entrance to the lanes leading to the Patch on the A4172, A449, and the Ledbury bypass. Parking is free, and there’s lot of space in our modern farm yard, and it’s all concrete and gravel – which means no muddy cars and no getting stuck!
A range of refreshments, including our popular pizzas are available from the Bull Pen Café located at the entrance, as are basic toilet facilities.
