We have a large concrete & gravel parking area, which is easily accessible. There is overflow parking on grass too. Parking is Free!
Yes, well-behaved dogs are allowed, so long as they are always kept under control and on a leash.
In 2026 there is no adult entry charge. Instead we are charging PER CAR.
The Farm Patch offers good value for money and we aim to keep it that way! We sell our flowers (in August) & pumpkins (in October) by weight. Our specialty pumpkins are individually priced and displayed at the front counter. On average a nice bunch of flowers costs around £6 and a medium size pumpkin costs £5, so what you pay depends on how much you pick!
Sunflowers and speciality pumpkins are sold separately.
Yes – we have basic portable toilets on site.
Yes, we are farmers after all! However, if we decide to close due to extremely adverse weather (ie. storms and gales), we will contact any booked ticket holders and post on social media for everyone to see.
As the saying goes, “There’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing!” We therefore recommend that you come prepared (footwear & jacket) as the patch can get muddy in the rain. There is shelter available at The Bull Pen cafe in the event of showers.

Even during our glorious summer, there can be a chance of a little rain. We recommend you bring comfortable footwear, and wellies & waterproofs, just in case!
During October, for the Pumpkins, we highly recommend wellies or boots, and a good warm jacket.
Your ticket will be for one day, so you may stay for as long as you like between hours of 11am-4pm when we close.
The Farm Patch is not liable for any refund in the event of inclement weather, change of plans, or force majeur. Should you need to amend your booking, please email events@lowerhousefarm.com directly and we will be pleased to book you in on an alternative date subject to availability.
Great question! With Sunflowers, we will usually keep the majority over winter to allow birds to use them as a food source. The Pumpkins are advertised to gleaning charities etc. to which we supply a large proportion of what remains. All pumpkins are edible and every part is too, except for the stalk and a little pumpkin goes a long way! We’ve worked with Fare Share, City Harvest and donated to Ledbury Food Bank.
Finally, we mulch all the sunflowers & pumpkins that remain – to add their organic matter back to the soil to benefit the next crop.
